My last car was a 2008 Ford focus and it made it to 276,000 before I donated it. I had it for over 12 years, almost 13. In addition to daily commutes to work locally, I drove it 1-2 times per week from Eastern shore MD to Northern VA. It saw lots of highway miles. Original engine, original transmission, I bought it new in 2009 in Preston Ford as it was manual and nobody wanted it at the dealership. I was the only owner.
